At the very core of Jigging and Popping is
the desire to fight and catch big fish on
the lighter, more compact tackle of today.
Because of the game changing nature of this
lighter tackle, the traditional definitions
that dictate records (line class) can't
appropriately account for what we do.
While we know that as individuals we keep
personal bests, we aren't aware of anyone
who keeps them for jigging and popping
overall, so we are dedicating this section
to just that. The rules, or rather rule is
simple- in order to qualify, you need to
have hooked and landed the fish by yourself
while casting or dropping a jig, popper, or
stickbait.
Because we know that the Jigging and
Popping community is full of responsible
sportsmen we will rely strictly on the
honor code.
So take a look at this section- should one
of your catches be up here? Submit it.

following catches, while not qualifying as
a trueJigging/Popping record for one reason
or another, are nonetheless notable as they

tackle.
